Evander is done fighting.. he's retired and should stay retired. i don't think this fight will happen. if it somehow does, Hopkins wins a boring if not ugly unanimous decision. a win over a faded Holyfield, who hasn't fought at an elite level for many years would mean very little. Hopkins doesn't have much (if anything) to gain in boxing Holyfield.
Holyfield is retired. Even if this offer were presented two years ago, when Evander still foolishly thought he could get a shot at Wladimir, Hopkins would still win. He would come in at 195 or so and jab-n-grab Holyfield to a points win.
Evander has just announced his retirement and that should render this rumor as just that---a rumor.
