Does Floyd have a legitamite excuse if he loses ?

Nope unless he tears his clavicle or something. Father time isn't a valid excuse cause he chose to keep fighting and proved he can compete even at an old age with his remaining speed. Also with his skills and ring IQ. Btw, look at b hop and foreman, older than Floyd, lost some, but elite nonetheless. Competed at highest level despite being old. anyways, he unofficially lost to Castillo 7-5 imo.

Saying he is past his prime is the same as admitting you're an old has been. Not an excuse, but a possible explanation. Personally I would only treat it as a valid explanation based on how he fights on fight night.

gettin beat by guppies instead of his rivals? what a waste...

I wont care if he whines he got gout attack in the ring due to his age... soon after madonna wins, top p4ps will go after madona and beat that hype job... to show how over rated floydee was

Now you worry so much that you want to sell that excuse to this forum.

Don't worry brothah. Al Haymon did his best for this assured win. Floyd will be clean until he retires.

Pacquiao is faster than floyd and could win...

I see him.running away like Broner

No, he is a huge favorite coming in.

nahh... Maidana will take his dive

No.

If Floyd loses to Marcos Maidana he could say that it was because he was 'past his prime'. So if anyone beats him at this point it wouldn't count or blemish his record. Thus leaving fans to believe that even if he loses he still remains an undefeated boxer. Do you find this the case?
