Let me tell you something Sir. I've been around Boxing all of my life, I've had the opportunity to travel all over this world with my fighters some were okay and others were really, really good. One of my favorite fighters "Santana D" found this forum when he really needed a place to go when he was dying of Cancer. I never new about this forum until I went to visit him during one of his stays in the hospital which there were many. My friend was feeling quite down and his wife asked me to visit him and talk boxing which was the second great love of his life.
When I showed up at his room he was on his computer telling me "Come read what this guy said, and this guy and that guy." Those "Guys" were Brent, Smitty, You, Blogbaba, Jane Farrows (Filf) Ric and a few others who I can not recall right now. He said "These guys (and one Lady) really know their stuff. I look forward to this" With that I said we spent his last few precious days, weeks and months of his life reading and answering questions. When he was too weak to type, I typed for him. When he was totally out of it I answered for him.
"Santana" found friends here that he personally emailed Brent, Smitty, Blogbaba and you to name a few. This forum helped my friend more than any Doctor or treatment ever did and you guys gave him strength when there really wasn't much left of him.
I must admit me joining this forum was a bit selfish on my part because I wanted to somehow feel closer to my friend "Santana" Meghan asked me to take over "Santana's" account but I couldn't do that, even though the majority of his last answers I typed, they were still his answers.
Yes Sir some of the older guys have left and some or should I say a lot of the newer guys are somewhat "Childish" in the behavior and questions but what if there is another "Santana" out there? What if this is his escape? What if you're the guy who gets him through his days and nights? Don't say "No not me." because I was there and I saw the impact you had on a very important person in my life, who's to say there isn't another? For that reason alone you MUST stay, you HAVE to stay.

No sir. This site has only has its ups and downs and apparently its again on its down. I thought too that you're gone and i guess this site lost one of its most knowledgeable contributor ever. Sean G lost appetite too of the forum but from time to time he visits and so does Blogbaba, Lestermount, Galactus( who easily is my favorite ), Bundini, and a host of other great contributors who come and go and comeback no matter what. I've never been a great contributor in this forum and never been a racist all through. But for the love of the game i comeback.This is our little community sir, and guys like you are needed. For us, us youths that we may gain some insights about boxing and get educated of the old school, new school and the likes. Boxing ran through my blood sir, my Grand dad was a prize fighter. It was always a pleasure talking with him about the game he and i both liked during the time he was still alive a few years back. Thank you really to yahoo for this site and had i not known individuals like you and the "other real contributors" who are worth every mention, i wouldn't have lingered. Thank you my friend. I assure you sir, its no waste of your time coming here from time to time.
I feel you Tough Guy I am feeling the same way I really think the Manny vs Floyd fall out killed this section. I have been on other sites ,You have asked a lot of great questions and so have I but the people on here are not real boxing fans . They don't know anything about boxing but when someone trys to enlighten them they get mad. d all I got was people I wrote a piece on balance and all I got was people telling me that I was wrong lol. Well I have join a dating site so I am chasing P right not it's a lot more fun .

Pretty disappointing to me people. All of the old school guys are pretty much gone or got tired of all the game playing. I ask some good questions and apparently nobody is interested anymore particularly in the old school fighters so I guess I'm just wasting my time now even coming on here.
