Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Henry Armstrong?

Manny Pacquiao & Timothy Bradley are both 5'6''.

Castillo, who is a fighter/brawler, is the only person in my eyes to have beaten Mayweather.

Being technical helps but what YOU should realize is that being a technical boxer doesn't mean you will win fights. Every1 Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. fought was more technical than him yet he went 80-0, Rocky Marciano, same story, he went 49-0.

Both Armstrong & Mayweather are monsters, i think this fight would be decided by the ref. If the ref breaks them up everytime they tie up, Floyd will get an easy decision, his reach advantage and outside prowess will get him this victory.

If the ref doesn't get involved when they tie up, Armstrong gets a one sided unanimous decision. Armstrong was strong in the inside, when fighters tied up he used his short arms to swarm fighters inside, and though he would get hit he had an iron chin and could take it but dish it out 3 x more while doing so.

Unlike the others. I actually studied footage of Henry armstrong. Armstrong was an inside fighter with no technique. He would struggle against counter punchers. I'll pick Floyd mayweather by UD or a late stoppage because Armstrong left himself open. I don't care who don't like what I have to say. Most of these " so called Greats " was Overrated. Floyd mayweather would have a picnic with Armstrong. In fact, Floyd mayweather constantly beat the best fighters of this era and People still * hate *. Floyd mayweather have more haters than the plague. Period!

Mayweather UD12.

Pressure-fighters SUCK against Mayweather. Hatton, Ortiz, Cotto, De La Hoya and Alvarez have all tried to pressure him and it doesn't work. Mayweather's reflexes allow him to dodge the punches, roll him them and hit sharp, accurate punches in return.

In reality, Mayweather wins. In fantasy land, Armstrong 'takes a long, hard fought battle'.

armstrong may have only been 5foot 6 (if that), but he was good enough to beat future middleweight champ cefrino garcia (and almost beat him again in a championship match). he was a strong welter. and few could escape his onslaughts. i see these guys splitting a few fights between them, but i'd give the edge to armstrong.

Floyd doesn't fight people he knows he can't beat! Period!

I favour Mayweather here because Armstrong is a inside fighter/brawler. An all-action fighter. I see Mayweather comfortably get out a decision because of Armstrong's inaccuracy. If l'm not mistaken, Armstrong was only 5 foot 6. Very small for a welterweight. You thoughts?
