I can't help but think that, if you were wearing an earring in the pierced each and you were punched it that pierced ear, it would do more damage than if you weren't wearing an earring.
Also, what would be the point in wearing an earring under a football helmet?
You'll need to take any piercings out before matches or training. Cant play with them in, the risk of them getting caught and ripping your earlobe is far to high. It's not like the hole is going to instantly seal up in the space of an hour, so it's not a big deal to take them out and put them back in when your done.
U have to take the piercings out when fighting or sparing apart from that its fine to have them pierced world champion carl frotch has his ears pierced

I do boxing but if I get my ears pierced what happens? Can I train? I also play football so what's the story? :)
