In any other sport, elite competetors are better today than they were 100 years ago because of decades of accumulated knowledge of the sport. I hear a lot of fantasy matchups between greats of 1920 and today. Don't you think boxing would have evolved like anything else? Do you really think that the accumulated knowledge of boxing techniques, training and styles has taught us nothing? Think about it.
