Floyd deserves a lot of credit for his offense too. He was smacking Guerrero around and couldn't miss at all, if he didn't hurt his hand I think he would've got Guerrero out of there.
I love how everyone in the media said Floyd was slowing down after the Cotto fight, and now all these same reporters are writing articles and flip flopping, saying Floyd is as good as he's ever been.

I didn't watch the fight. However I heard Floyd dominated Guerrero as expected. I give credit for defeating Guerrero but can his success with his father really be compared to the success he had with his uncle when they both trained him against opposition of different skill levels? Not saying that Floyd couldn't possibly have improved, but the guy already knew almost everything about boxing. Cotto made him look human while Guerrero makes him look like a "god" to you guys.
Just a personal observation. Cotto and Guerrero are NOT the same.
That goes to show you that his father the one who teaches him from the very start...And floyds mocking him many times before...Cant even give his father the respect that he needs in that cotto fight...Floyd should humble himself cause he is already ppv king, no need to promote himself as a badguy...That if he wants to be appreciated by a lot of common boxing fans not only his fans...
But flash cotto is different fighter than guerrero...As what i've observed that even a damage cotto is still better fighter than guerrero...Not bad for a tune up fight...But the level of competition is just like really a tune up fight...Guerrero did not came to fight...
Floyds dad is more about defense while his uncle is more about attacking , As you get older you have to fight with more caution and counter punches . He's not way better but being 36 that style is more useful then being always on the attack
Floyd looked as good as he has in several fights, he looked like the Floyd that fought hatton, he was very fast and slick, he's physique also looked stronger, and working back with his father only benefited him even more, I can see Floyd retiring undefeated.
T'was because Floyd was fighting (i mean boxing, that wasn't a fight to me) class C fighter, FKD. Try putting Floyd's azz against Pacquiao or Canelo or Martinez. You will see the difference.

No one has been able to crack Floyds code. I guess we can forget about the age thing with Floyd he might be around longer than Bernard Hopkins there is no reason to believe that he wont. I did not give Guerrero a round. Floyd has the ability to make everyone he fights fight his fight.Guerrero could not hit Floyd to the body. Floyd is so much stronger than anyone gives him credit for.
