It's Bob Arum's fault actually. The natural course at that time should have been an immediate rematch with Bradley so that Pacquiao could regain the WBO welterweight title unjustly stolen from him by those oafish judges! But Arum's greed for money more than the opportunity for Pacquiao to historically redeem himself from the Bradley loss brought in Marquez. Boxing is business but I think Pacquiao has fought and earned enough for financial security for even his future grand children. But Arum made him fight another money fight with Marquez instead of setting him up for a history-making legacy redeeming rematch fight with Bardley.
