I have a question for left hook for boxing?

you pivot while throwing the punch, it is about timing, if you pivot before throwing the punch you lose power. If you pivot after throwing the punch it is all arm and no body or power.

Power is about timing and using the ground to generate that power.

If you practice hitting the heavy bag you can get the feel for what generates the most power, and work on that feeling to time your punches.

You make your fist and arm like a stick and hammer. swivel and hit with the strength of your upper body behind the punch. Be very careful with the counter right that's going to come your way.

it depends on how you feel if you feel that angle release more power then thats the right way for you

were not the same dude

When throwing the lead hook im a southpaw right hook i know you have to pivot to open up hips.but when you put your arm at a 90 degrees angle do you have to.lock your arm to get maximum power.or can you pivot and swing the arm? And do you do it all at the same time or do you pivot foot then use arm last?
