Iv only been sparring for a while but propper sparring and getting punched hurts bad how can I take a punch better?

Chew bubble gum, make sure you really feel it in your jaw muscles, exercise your neck muscles like floyd mayweather jr, spar a lot and get used to getting hit with big shots and keeping composure but work on your defense, work on your reflexes and slips and ducks on the slip bag and work on your parrying, catching shots during sparring.

They say you can't build muscles on your chin, that is partly true, in some way your ability to take a punch is pre determined. What does help though is to build stronger muscles in your neck and legs, a strong neck will help stop your head being whipped back and strong leg muscles will help prevent your legs buckling under a shot. Also learn to roll with punches so as to lessen their impact.

try blocking it or ducking. Another good way boxers use it to put your head down do they punch the top of your head. This won't hurt at all to you and might even hurt the other person if your not wearing pads

train your neck so when you get punched your neck will absorb the punch better and stop your head from being flung about from the punch

Trian on a boxing bag and try doing an upper cut it's too strong and hit on the nois
