In a street fight, what is better- boxing better or muy tai?

i am considering boxing vs muy tai and im wondering what would be more effective in a street fight?

You can't throw a high roundhouse kick to the head in jeans so ill go with boxing even though there's a lot more to Muay Thai

Its not even an objective debate, because in a no rules street fight, it doesnt matter what art you use because you can use dirty tactics, blunt objects, etc. to overcome your opponent. You can punch a Muay Thai fighter into a nail protruding from the wall and you won, does that say boxing is superior to Muay Thai? Of course not.

If you were to analyze them both on paper, they both have a fair set of strengths and weaknesses. Boxing, for example, is far superior with respect to punching, speed, footwork, head movement, etc. by miles. Muay Thai, on the other hand, is the most diversified form of striking out there that is extremely effective in the right set of hands. It would all depend on what can overcome what first, precision over devastation or vice versa. Muay Thai can do damage in more ways than boxing due to being able to use elbows, kicks, and knees to the body and legs, but boxing delivers much more devastating blows to the head, which is more damaging than to the body or legs.

In a street fight you really don't want to punch. Unless you're like me and have broken all your knuckles multiple times, you're gonna end up hurting yourself more than you hurt them. Go with Muy Tai.

Both are effective, but i believe muay thai is the better style to learn as it utilizes 8 weapons and the more dangerous

Muay Thai is obviously more effective because you kick as well as punch.

Do kick boxing.
