In order for the fight to be made something has to give. He doesn't need $110 million, I'm sure he'd like it but it's Pacquiao needs the money more and I'm sure he'd be collecting around 80-90 million if Mayweather Jr's getting $110 but there's other detail that needs ironing out first, egos need to be put aside in order for this to happen.

Mayweather is trying to win the fight before it can even start. Sugar Ray Leonard did the same vs Roberto Duran. Leonard had 10 advantages before taking the fight, but could NOT take advantage of his many many advantages. Rematch, he needed those same 10 different advantages and for Duran to not be anywhere near 100% and in a rush to lose weight n get back in shape and in a rush to prepare for the rematch. Finally, Leonard could say he won. Leonard did the same with Hagler. Trying to win many advantages before willing to fight Hagler. Hagler had a long tough war with Mugabi n was talking about retiring before Leonard was finally willing to take the fight.
Mayweather is definately ticklish of Pacquiao, to want and demand so much before ever taking the fight. Same as Jones Jr. fearing the rematch with Hopkins. Hopkins had the intellegence n the defensive jab to neutralize Jones on the outside-from flying in to attack. And Hopkins is a super mean badger on the inside, although Jones is great on the inside too, but cannot win the inside fight ever, against Hopkins. So he knew he had nothing for his rematch with Hopkins 2. Hopkins had Jones' calling card n they both knew it very well. That rematch took ages for Jones to finally agree to fight, even though he was losing all the arguments at all points before the rematch finally took place 10 years too late. Jones' fault 100%
Bowe was scared of Lewis, period. No need to examine or explain. I'm sure he wanted a f'd up deal too n Lewis didn't agree with it. Maybe loser gets all the money, n winner can have the Heavyweight title belt.
