And then he decided to un-retire and make a return to boxing Shane was
then supposed to fight Paulie Malignaggi for his WBA Welterweight Title.
That didn't get made cause Paulie wasn't happy with the fight purse that
Golden Boy Promotions offered, I was interested in seeing that fight. Now
Pablo Cesar Cano is a young Welterweight contender he lost to Paulie in
a disputed decision that many thought he deserved to win and was robbed
and won a vacant (Interim) WBA Welterweight Championship. Now Golden
Boy Promotions is trying to help out Shane Mosley who plans to fight a few
more times before he retires from the sport of boxing. Shane Mosley is going
to have to win convincingly and on a side note the fight takes place in Mexico.
Shane is yet another stereotypical great fighter that just can't hang em up. He will get by young Pablo, but what next? I love Mosley and don't think that this fight is too dangerous for him, but to get back into the big money it's going to be a big risk. Looks like another lessen that has to be learned the hard way.
Hey I am a big Mosley fan I don't think he should have used the Sugar in his name but that is just me. Yes this is a sad, and bad side effectof a fighter who just doesn't see his time has passed. I have never heard of the kid Shane is fighting but if he is ever going to be anything he should win this fight. In fact I am going to bet on the kid sight unseen that's how much I think of Shane at this point. Just kidding I would never bet on any one sight unseen. I do wish Shane well.
I've never been a Mosley fan because of his steroid taking. I think that if he's wanting to go out on a win then he should fight once more, then quit otherwise he will end up in a downwards spiral like Roy Jones.
