Sup Yo? My wife wants to be a heavyweight contender?

She's 5'4 short and 345 lbs.....Does he stand a good chance to make it in the vicious world of boxing? If not whather chances in Sumo contests?

Does she have any boxing skills at all? Is she fast? Without actually seeing her in the ring, I would guess she'd be better off as a sumo wrestler. In that sport her weight will come in handy.

In order to win she will have to force her opponent to step out of the ring, or else force her opponent to touch the ground with any part of the body other than the bottom of his feet.

At 345 she'll probably be able to do this.

If she had no experience in boxing she had no chance. Boxers move and jab and have lot of stamina to go several rounds of boxing. It is not a contest of heavy weight.

Maybe on the show Biggest Loser. Sounds like she is already a heavyweight contender.

Boxing isn't a very good sport for females to compete in professionally.

I do it for self defence, nothing more.

345lb is very heavy for 5'4. I suggest you encourage your wife to do some cardio first.

Good luck.

I was about to give this a legit answer..until I saw the username
