Throughout history which boxer was the worst person?

There were worse figures back in the day. Things were more messed up, there was more poverty and more discrimination so people in general were worse in the past [crime RATE was also worse back then].

For example; Jack Blackburn was a boxing genius who occassionally fought men who outweighed him by 30lbs. Blackburn went on to train Joe Louis.

Blackburn also murdered outside the ring.

Barbados Joe Walcott was in countless shootouts, in one of them he lost his finger.

Monzon hitting his wife is nothing out of the ordinary. Sugar Ray Robinson beat 6 of his wives

You are all wrong about Dempsey

His manager Doc Kearns spread a rumor that he " doctored " Dempsey's gloves with plaster of paris and soaked his wrapped fist in water to cool off that July 4th when he fought Willard

The rumor was disproven in the 1960's when hard hitting heavyweight Cleveland Williams had his fists wrapped, and covered in hardened plaster of paris which disintegrated into powder after just 2 punches

James Butler has got to be up there for murder and sucker punching.

Don King is one of the worst people associated with boxing, killing two people, ripping everyone off and fixing fights.

There are boxers today who still beat women, at least some of them are prosecuted though I guess.

Freddie Mills, he was a vicious serial killer, responsible for the brutal deaths of at least eight young women whose naked bodies were found in or around the River Thames between 1959 and 1965.

I heard Sugar Ray Robinson at the last minute before a fight would ask for more money and threaten to not fight if the purse wasnt increased. He also beat his wife I hear.

I Have heard Sonny Listons name alot.

Edwin Valero wasn't exactly graduate from the school of Gentlemen with charm did he..??

I hear Jack Dempsey was a bad man. They say he whipped Jess Willard with a bit of metal to win the Heavyweight Championship and worked with the mob.

Carlos Monzon's woman beating career was as sparkling and as accomplished as his prize fighting career.

Any other mean men in boxing history?
