Pac vs Provodnikov is actually a good matchup. Problem is that Ruslan doesn't have much of a public image, and nobody besides us really knows how much of a beast he is.
The chances are that Ruslan will lose before he can fight Pacquiao later this year. The WBO made Marquez mandatory for Ruslan's belt at 140, Marquez don't sound overly keen but he will probably take it eventually some time in the summer to keep him active for the Pacquiao Bradley winner later in the year.
If Provodnikov can beat someone the caliber of Marquez in his next fight then no doubt there is a big chance he will fight Pacquiao later.
