What are your thoughts on Jorge Arce coming out of retirement?

Arce is gonna be exactly what he's been for the past four years or so.

A very exciting fighter, but nowhere near elite. I don't think he can win a belt at featherweight, unless he gets handed some bullsh*t interim title (which wouldn't count).

Think about all of the elite guys at 126lb. Mares, Fortuna, Ponce De Leon, Gonzalez, John, etc....all those guys would kick his asss for sure.

Oh boy. Call it a day Arce, Darchinyan said something similar, about wanting to challenge Manny Pacquiao. Arce probably feels like he has regrets, like he could have done more but to be honest he had a hell of a career.

I dont think its money to be honest, it is his drive as a competitor. Its just one of those things were you just feel regrets and you just want to go back. Look at Juan Diaz, he quit a damn good job just to go back in the ring again.

I'm not confident in his ability at his age now. At light welterweight, there is Garcia, Provodnikov Peterson and Khabib. All who are talented but aren't elite level fighters. Arce has a chance but not against any of these fighters. Perhaps Khabib. At welterweight there is Broner, Alexander, and Mayweather Jr. He isn't beating these fighters either.

He needs money.

stupid. He was clearly passed his prime against donaire and he is still choosing to fight? He needs to understand that he is old and retirement was the best option for him.

I think that he should call it a day.

Former WBO, WBC lightweight champion

WBO super flyweight champion

WBO Bantamweight champion

WBO super bantamweight champion

He will return on November 16th against William Prado and his goal is to challenge for a featherweight title and make beat Juan Manuel Márquez to becoming the 1st Mexican boxer with titles in 5 different divisions

Do you think Arce can do it?
