He also still holds the record for most fights in one year with 45 (all wins) in 1919. Sugar Ray Robinson defeated a high number of fighters as well who became Champs too but not sure of the number right now,

People wont like to hear this but the fighter who holds that record is Floyd Mayweather Jr who have beaten 19. If I'm not mistaken I believe Oscar De La Hoya has also beaten 19. It's a tie between Oscar and Floyd. Floyd will most likely past that tho being that he's still fighting.
