talkin about power punches... yes, it's too much but floyd is known for speed, stamina and style, his defense is so great against slower opponents no matter how hard they punch...not to mention canelo aint got fast feet, aint got the experience to corner or push floyd to the ropes... as long as floyd can see canelos big punches, floyd's defense will stand... specially when canelo's begins to gas out due to the catchweight, floyd's speed and experience will own him
It's not about power, it's about skill. Floyd isn't there to take a punch, he is there to hit and not get hit. Canelo has power, but Floyd has fought many opponents who have power and size advantage. Canelo will have to fight intelligently, and use every advantage he has correctly. If not, he will just be relying on luck to land a punch in which case it would simply be that Mayweather gets hit by one that he doesn't see coming.
Yeah too much if they were doing a strong man competition; BUT I doubt he'll land those power shots on the money man.
