First of all you can't jump in a gym & think you can box with the best this isn't MMA it takes some years of amateur background to get used to going rounds training sessions of a 1000+ punches when arms are tired to learn to punch through fatigue. It also takes a lot of Roadwork & time to learn boxing technique. Most boxers work their way up divisions in order to learn their craft get ring experience which is vital & taking punches starting of with 4 round fights boxing is a science so in order to do it you must be dedicated and work extremely hard. Fighting when fatigued is a lesson in attrition and mental toughness.
I think u can start boxing around 20 but you have to make your way up there to be able to fight the top fighters.
Doesn't matter what age. What matters is your skill andof course promoters. And rankings.
