who on earth will not grab the opportunity to get a talent like rigon, after that display of power against a top p4p donaire...what kind of promoter will not go after rigon...???

what i dont understand is...why will arum or HBO dislike him...i mean what's wrong w/ rigon?

is the power he applied against donaire too much it made the executives both from hbo and toprank vomit... i mean dude, what kind of power will make anyone vomit? i mean i can vomit when i smell something foul...

I don't ever remember a situation where a top fighter beat a top PFP and was shunned this bad. The closest was when Cassamayor got nothing but a bicycle for his Olympic efforts. Rigo is a Boxer first. Sure, he can make himself a little more exciting but he has learned how to fight the best way he can to win and that is defense, defense, defense. And this is the worse attitude a Promoter has had toward his fighter I have seen or one of the worst.

But then again, boxing has changed. 90% of boxing fans these days want more action. More action means more money. More money means better future in boxing. Gatti, Tyson, Pacquiao are solid evidences of that.

Its just sad that a guy like Rigo who is very skilled doesn't have any up-coming fights while the guy he just beat, Donaire is set to comeback next year. He can't even part ways and go to Golden Boy and get a fight because they are stacked with an amazing roster.

This is just how raciest these white people are and the worse part is. I am afraid that all these new black promoters that are coming into the business are going to do the same thing to the black fighters. Well I am not afraid I know this is happening as we speak. It's like there are two divisions in boxing . The real division is all the best black fighters and then there is the European division with all the good white fighters.Look at Anthony Dirrell, Andre Dirrell Jermaine Taylor, Quinlan ,Brad Solomon.and Bojack the list goes on and on. There is nothing wrong with Jermaine Taylor but they have pulled the plug on him just like they want to do with the Peterson brothers. Bob Arum is the worse thing that ever happen to boxing. The HBOs.Show Times and casino executives did not not like doing Business with Don King other blacks so they all got in bed with Bob Arum . So here we are today a great fighter like Rig is just setting around. This is just one of the things that piss me off . When a black fighter looses a fight he goes to the back of the line but if a white fighter looses he will have another fight with in three months. Sorry for the rant I am just so feed up with all the BS.

i think it's been a long time coming.your promoter is there to sell you to the public not tell everyone how boring you are.i don't know what his game is.arum came out at the post donaire fight interveiw and started talking about all rigo's negatives and putting him down.if i'd just won the fight of my career and my promoter did that i'd be angry to say the least.by arum saying all these things he has really planted a seed in the mind of a lot of boxing fans when it comes to rigo.this damage may be unrepairable and is unacceptable.

let the fans make up their own minds.i'm telling you if arum didn't say what he said post fight,there wouldn't be half as many people saying rigo is boring.i actually enjoyed that fight.

i hate that old bloodsucker.it's greedy men like him that are ruining the sport.i know he is a business man but money isn't everything.he should respect the sport and the men who fill his pockets through their talent
