Hagler was much more than a brawler. Have you actually seen his fights?
If Martinez could run for 12 rounds he would lose a decision if he stood and fought he would go to sleep in less than 5 rounds.

Marvin lost manoeuvrability in his later fights due to bad knees through poor training techniques. Hearns Mugabi and Leonard fought the Hagler that looks to you like "a flat footed brawler". The earlier Hagler was a switch hitting boxer puncher with a little slickness that broke you down little by little and got your *** out of there in the later rounds or else whooped you on points.
Even the Hagler though fought Hearns was not flat footed!!! How can someone with poor foot speed beat Tommy Hearns?
Hagler KO RD 9. Hagler would of closed the distance, and accumulated major damage. It would be competitive, and both would take damage, but Hagler would overwhelm Martinez sometime in the fight.
