Floyd mayweather is confident & Ric flair have a persona.
He may have gotten some of his flaunting from Flair but in general i think Floyd really is materialistic. Many people are materialistic and that's just how it is. Mayweather really spent allot of his money on unnecessary things, that is not an act. His life isn't an act.
Wrestling is theatrics so you always have extra things in it. I remember Muhammad Ali saying that he got his ''i'm the best in the world'' persona from a wrestling match in Hawaii. You could tell when Ali copied a wrestlers persona;
