I have heard rumors that Amir Khan is looking to sign with the same management as Floyd Mayweather, which could drastically increase his chances of being Floyd's next opponent. When you consider that in addition to the fact that Khan has a larger following than Keith Thurman I wouldn't doubt a Khan fight being next.
Keith Thurman is talented but he's also a little green in a sense that he hasn't really flourished from a promotional aspect. He has the belt, which is great, but this isn't 2001, its going to take more than holding a portion of the title to get a Floyd Mayweather fight. Give Thurman a few more fights and he'll be in the mix too, but as of right now, my guess would be Amir Khan.
If those are the only options it will probably be Khan.
Things can happen before then. Danny Garcia might decide he wants to fight Mayweather and add himself into the discussion.
