To you ,did Kell Brook's victory over Shawn Porter make him the most formaidable welterweight outside Mayweather and

In terms of In the Ring ability and potential, yes. However, In name, Brook must still wait in line behind marque names like Khan, Bradley and Marquez. It's not a bad thing though. Here's why.

.

Brook's performance against Porter leads me to believe that he would win a rematch more convincingly. If that happens, it would only raise his stock.

.

That helps him because the futures of Khan, Bradley and Marquez are all in question. Who knows what Khan's next move will be. He seems to still believe that he's one of the most marketable fighters in the division. That might be true, outside of Mayweather and Pacquiao. However, that's quickly changing as other fighters are making their mark in the division, while Khan continues to squabble at the negotiating tables over prospective fights.

.

Marquez is on his way out and might already have lost any real purpose to continue fighting. He's on the fence about another fight with Pacquiao and seems to show little interest in anything else. He certainly has retirement on his mind.

.

Bradley is set to face Cotto in a fight that many feel shouldn't even happen. How did he "earn" that fight? People are getting tired of Bradley's luck and gifts.

.

When the dust settles, Brook will be sharing the spotlight with guys like Porter and Keith Thurman. Time will tell which of those guys will stand above the pack. Brook is in a good place.

Marquez beats him by UD, maybe knocks him down once but may also be knocked down.

Tim Bradley out works him in a close fight.

Maidana beats him, UD, Maidana comes out strong and hurts Kell early and puts him on the canvas a few times, Kell Brook outboxes and hits Maidana with accurate power shots, late round Maidana regains his wind and continues the vicious attack.

Keith Thurman i think is a 50 50 fight

Khan outboxes him UD

Robert guerrero wins a SD

Kell Brook outboxes Devon Alexander

Basically I wasnt impressed at all with Kell Brooks performance, Shawn Porter was the easiest titleholder at 147, Kell Brook could have outboxed him easily, but he would rather land a few shots and continue clinching and clinching and clinching, Shawn Porter would come in lunging without a jab and fall right into his arms and oh, another clinch. I feel like both guys are not world class material and shouldn be mentioned with pac and may. Basically i feel like Brooks will lose his title withing the next 1 or 2 titles defenses if he picks a guy in his top 10. The only guys in the top 10 he can beat are #10 ranked Devon Alexander, and Shawn Porter who he just beat.

No and that to consider that it's a majority decision win against Porter meaning not all judges were convince especially the English judge who saw it even 114-114. I am not sold on Brooke or even Porter as a formidable Welter outside of Manny and Floyd. Winning against Porter doesn't change that or that his performance suggest that he is one. I don't believe he can beat Bradley and other welter that is on a higher tier. He got a lot of things to prove and a lot to show to be considered as one.

That win puts him 3 or 4 in my book, not sure if he's above Bradley that's a difficult decision.

Kell Brook has a lot of options available to him, he's in a great position right now.

Shawn Porter is a boring piece of ****, he'll never sell tickets the way he fights. He should move way down in wieght, maybe he could put on better shows.

Keith Thurman, Bradley and Khan are still in the way and Marquez

Brook is probably the most skilled, and well rounded, besides the two.

no...he needs better names than porter in his resume
