Why do people say Amir Khan have a glass jaw?

Just curious I don't know much about the guy beside he's 28-3 with 2 of the losses coming by ko. 20 of his wins he ko his opponent, do this guy just get noodle legs a lot.

His chins not the issue, it's his powers of recovery. When he gets rocked it takes him an age to clear his head an get back on steady legs. Like for most boxers the 60 seconds between rounds is plenty of time to get your act together, but for Khan vs Garcia he was still groggy at the start of the following round after getting floored.

He kinda does have one. He has a really long skinny neck and has some bambi legs, a combination of both is really bad for taking shots. And he has a really bad recovery rate. If he gets hurt, he stays hurt for a LONG time, which is a no-no in boxing, because you are giving time to your opponent to finish you off. And now its even worse because not only physical traits are not meant to take a heavy punch, now he is mentally broken down because he lost his confidence since he got KOed by Danny Garcia because everybody keeps talking about how he has a glass jaw. Each time he gets hit by a big shot, its going to do 50% more damage because of his mental state.

His two KO losses had come against hard punchers namely Breidis Prescott who exploited his relative greenness to blitz him early in his career and Danny Garcia who exploited his gameness and willingness to trade to kayo him a couple of years back. But he had also been in there against other ponderous punchers as Marcos Maidana, Lamont Peterson and Andrei Kotelnik and he did just fine. I think he has average mandible.

To understand why Amir "Glass-Jaw McGraw" Khan has a china madible you need to watch the first jab thrown by Prescott in their fight. A jab landed straight on the chin and Amir was wobbled by it. His back foot judders backwards, he tried to cover it up but I saw It Amir, I know what i saw lol

Because he does.

When you get hurt on a consistent basis, and get beat around the ring by Julio Diaz (who is past his prime, and was a modest puncher AT BEST when he was a prime lightweight), then clearly there is an issue.

Khan does have terrible legs and horrible defense, but that's not an excuse for his obvious chin issues.

Because people are too fast to lable others. I don't particularly like him, enjoyed watching him get ko'd by Danny Garcia.

Because he's been wobbled so many times and knocked out twice not to mention dropped by past their best fighters.

His chin isn't the best but its not that bad.The two fights he's lost by KO have been against big punchers.

because its a fact... same fact he koed 20 of his opponents...

my opinion, he got low pain tolerance and recovers very slow when wobbled or knocked down...

he is feeble... just an opinion
