A) Floyd's defense is such that he doesn't get his clean or often. Like Bernard Hopkins, he can probably remain elite until he is well over 40.
B) Floyd contract with Showtime has him fighting 4 more fights in the next 2 year's. He would be 38 at that point.
C) I don't know about you but 300 million means a lot to a man who calls himself Money. Rich people crave more money.
because there is what we call legacy w/c talks a lot about who he fought...he can retire now and ran w/ the million dollars he earned from his latest fights... but imagine how history will write his exit... he fought no rival, he completely avoided his nemesis... how boring will it b talking about floyd fights in the future... man it will be like talking about steven seagal who never got hit and lost a fight in all his movies...
People in this forum is jealous of Floyd mayweather accomplishments. He is retiring at 40 years old because his legacy is written in stone. He is a 5 time world champion and he's the most paid boxer of our era. There is nothing more for him to prove. He accomplished many mile stones that young prospects will dream of.
