Did Floyd missed the opportunity to fight a prime Pacquiao when he was on a huge winning streak?

Because it seems Floyd is complaining that Pac has 2 of 1 in his last fights. Why didn't he fight him before he had the loses, you know when he was on a huge winning streak?

Floyd mayweather drug tested all of his opponents including Juan marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Guerrero, and Canelo.

Manny pacquiao is the one that refused to take a blood test in 2009 because he said " it weaken him. "

Now he is singing a different tune by blood testing his opponents. Manny was not blood testing his opponents in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. He just starting doing it. Manny pacquiao let Bob arum choose his fights. I guess, Rios was a better choice than Alvarado :))

Manny pacquiao also missed a chance to fight a prime Floyd mayweather because he is 36 years old. They are both past their prime and neither one of them is getting any younger.

BQ: Manny pacquiao is with Top rank and Floyd mayweather is linked with GBP. This is where a promoter come into the picture { Bob arum }

When Danny garcia challenged Manny pacquiao people became silent. He should also be seen as Duckig but he is not? I wonder why the fight is not going to happen??

This is coming from a Manny and Floyd fan.

Because Pac refused to take a test.

Seriously, the only time the fight was actually going to happen was back in 2009-10, whatever it was. Floyd agreed to everything, glove size, ring size, purse split, Pacquiao's 10 million dollar per pound weight penalty, EVERYTHING.

All Floyd asked for was random testing, and Pac refused to do it. Floyd agreed to everything Pacquiao demanded, and all Floyd demanded was the testing.

So Pac missed his opportunity to fight Floyd. Don't get it twisted, Floyd had his contract signed, Pac realized he had to take testing and (for some reason) refused. His fault, not Floyds'.

edit: Pacquiao or anyone else, Floyd wanted testing. Mosley, Ortiz, Guerrero, Canleo, Cotto, etc..they all took the random testing with no issues. What's it matter anyway?

The conclusion is still the same, Pac didn't want the testing and ruined the fight. Simple as that, people can spin it anyway they want and Pac is still at fault.

Floyd doesnt need to fight pacquiao he is a living legend and continues to beat top level fighters

Canelo

Cotto

Dah lahoya

Corralis

Marquez

Judah

This man has fought good fighters for 16 years and still has his 0

You Dummy Floyd Makes everyone he fights take the Olympic Style Drug Test but Cheat Man Paqiuoa is the only one to refuse because he is a CHEATER!!

complicate it ei?

ring size, gloves size etc are normal prefight agreements... $10M fine aint, its a demand, reasonably given bc he bloated jmm and overpowered the lil guy w/ an extra 2 pounder power...while the osdt, its called a ridiculous demand cus pac never tested positive. after a few months, pac agreed where floyd keeps changing his mind...

actually the answer is simple, a big NO, his plan is to duck pac till he retires!

Let us put that in proper historical perspective.

Floyd was on retirement bliss all those times when Manny was having his real magnificent winning binge ( versus David Diaz,Oscar, de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto ), how could they have fought?

When Floyd came back with a one sided win over Marquez in late 2009, Manny was scheduled to meet Cotto for his WBO welterweight belt.

A negotiation for a fight between the two occurred in 2010 but it fell through due to non-agreements in some terms, especially on the OSDT which Pacquiao refused. Arum decided to pit Manny against Joshua Clottey who was a previous loser to recent Manny victim Cotto.

Floyd chose to fight Shane Mosley who was on a winning roll ( including KO over Tony Margarito for the WBC welter crown ).

Latter that same year, Arum decided to pit Manny against Margarito who was previously crushed by Mosley.

Another negotiation was reported for a Pac-Floyd fight in 2011 but again it was unsuccessful for almost the same reasons as the first failed talk. Vowing that he will not deal with GBP and Floyd again and that all Pacquiao fights from then on will strictly be in-house, Arum proceeded to pit Manny against Mosley who was previously defeated roundly and soundly by Floyd the previous year. Floyd meanwhile took on Victor Ortiz who was on a winning roll including over Andre Berto for the WBC welterweight title left vacant with the defeat of Mosley to Floyd. Later the same year, Manny meet old nemesis Marquez who had previously soundly beaten by Floyd in his first and by that time only other wleterweight fight.

Then 2012 came and Arum proceeded to pit Manny against Bradley in June and versus old rival Marquez in December and we know what happened there

Question: Was it Floyd's fault that Manny chose to fight foes who had previously lost their fights, including against Floyd?

Another question: What did Floyd missed all those times when he wasd earning more than Manny while fighting lesss frequently?

Still another question: Did Floyd regret not fighting Manny especially last year 2012 when Manny lost his two fights including a face-first KO to Marquez whom Floyd toyed with?

Manny is shooting adrenaline before fights.....Either way Floyd Mayweather would win.

He was scared then and he is still scared now. Floyd will just continue making up excuses as long as his fans support him. His fans should ask him to grow a pair.

No he didn't. Floyd missed on purpose.lol

there is many reason not to fight..

but not one reason to face pacquiao

Because it seems Floyd is complaining that Pac has 2 of 1 in his last fights. Why didn't he fight him before he had the loses, you know when he was on a huge winning streak?
