Jeff Mayweather: Fighting a Pakistani on Cinco de Mayo is a tough sell"?

we will have to see what the undercard looks like. Abner Mares vs Santa Cruz maybe if one moves up or one moves down. Mares is quite a small featherweight.

I don't see why it would be a tough sell Amir Khan may not be the greatest boxer out there but he is well known ,has a wide fanbase and will generate the most money.

People say Tim Bradley has improved since he's defeated Pacquiao in controversial fashion just because he defeated Marquez clearly but i disagree ,Bradley just fought a smaller and slower guy than him so Bradley was a bad match up for Marquez.

I think Manny Pacquiao should once again defeat Tim Bradley clearly like he did the first time the big question will be "what fight will the judges see".

Manny Pacquiao's contract with Bob Arum and Top Rank doesn't expire until the end of 2014 ,Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will be fighting on Kentucky Derby day next year ,May 2nd ,2015 ,just like what Miguel Cotto did after his contract expired with Top Rank at the end of 2011 to make a fight with Mayweather happen the following May of 2012

Isn't it safe to say that Floyd vs any fighter either it be a Mexican or any fighter with Hispanic decent for Cinco de Mayo won't make or reach the expectation? Robert Guerrero is of Hispanic origin but didn't fare decently revenue wise when he fought Floyd Jr. Canelo contribute because of his size that unfortunately wasn't a factor when he fought Mayweather Jr., on the turn out of PPV and it is not just on Floyd alone and to expect the same would be disastrous. The only opponent that would bring and exceeds the expectation would be Manny Pacquiao who Floyd can not fight for whatever reason.

Bradley who doesn't possessed the charisma that undefeated fighter should have will again can not contribute in anyway on the revenue. I am expecting the same scenario as of the last time they met. Below a million on PPV is more likely with the same token for Floyd vs. Khan if ever they decide to push through.

You're a Brit? I always heard Khans popularity over there is not as big as we think. And then I know this will do sh*t views because I also heard you guys get ppvs free?

It may all depend on the undercard. A popular Mexican fighter could boost the sales in some cases but don't count on it.

remember when khan got mugged by london bullies? thats how popular khan is among the britts...

if pac wins over bradley, I think oskar will put pac #2 p4p and kick aside the less active ward to pessure floyd... if the fight wont happen this year, we might see pac sharing the #1 spot w/floyd again after beating another opponent (hope its not marquez) on sept...

hahaha, after sulaiman, it can be delahoya pulling strings just to make the fight happen...

and floyd, hilarious, but I hope he finally say yes...

imagine how stup!d he will look if he continue to duck his fellow p4p king and mandatory challenger

We will find out the true power of Mexican-American boxing fans in the American boxing market this May. Everyone pray for a Pacquiao win vs Bradley and Khan vs Mayweather to bomb, then boxing fans will see the big dog fight we've been waiting for.
