That was a nice gesture, but first impressions are the ones that stick. I'll always know that deep down that he's a dildo. I tend not to care about a persons actions outside of the ring, but he's just too ignorant to even try to ignore. He doesn't blow me away with his skill-set either. He's good, but he makes a lot of mistakes and STILL telegraphs his jab simply by way of his posturing in the ring. High guard- throws a jab up top a vast majority of the time. Left by waist- he's throwin the jab downstairs a large part of the time. Nobody ever mentions that, and just watching him do that has become a pet peeve of mine because apparently nobody he's working with is trying to fix it.

Whatever he does, I just don't want to have to hear his mouth as much as I have been if I don't have to. He should just muzzle up, fight, and muzzle back up and walk out of the ring when he's done. I'd be happy with that.

Image rehab? Last time I saw Broner he was wearing socks with sandals and had a Rick Ross beard, so if anyone needs image rehab its him.

But seriously though, its nice to see him giving money to those less fortunate. It kind of makes up for the money he flushed down the toilet.

He's black that's bad enough.

Broner should be in career rehab. I've always thought that his rise to 147 had more to do with his lack of dedication to his craft than anything else. True, 147 is where the money is but skipping 140 for a soft touch like Paula Malignaggi impressed no one and proved nothing.

.

The gesture seemed nice but I've known dozens of panhandlers who take in more than any of us earn. Also, there is the question of how and why the gesture was filmed. Does Broner routinely have camera people follow him?

.

Until something drastic happens in his career, Broner will always be viewed as a poor man's Mayweather. I still see very little in similarities and a world of differences between the two. Mayweather's trash talk was timed well and executed all around better. He was entertaining where Broner is just plain annoying.

.

I don't think Broner has anywhere near the level of dedication that Mayweather has. The comparisons are rather insulting. He has skill and his image does need a makeover but I don't see that gesture as any step in that direction.

Idk. I think he's always gonna be a goofy a s s.
