After the Trout fight, im sold to Canelo. He is still young who's dominated every opponent pre Floyd.Forget about the MAywetaher fight. Floyd's the king pin. Angulo will get embarras too if he faces FMJ.
Canelo or Alfredo who will win?
Saul will rebound. It'll be great action packed fight no doubt. We'll see a tentative but calculated Alvarez who plans to dissect the hard hitting Angulo. Alfred will connect alright as the Red haired boy wasnt particularly fast on his feet. But Canelo survives the onslaught. The boy's tough. I see Canelo outboxing Alfredo enroute to a unanimous decision victory
Angulo is a relentless slugger who comes forward non stop and has a great chin. Alvarez is a technical boxer-puncher who has good counter punching abilities and can potshot and has a good defense. Angulo will be hard fight indeed I realize more each day. But since his style is perfect for canelo, then I have to go with Canelo with a hard fought hard earned UD. They both got power but Canelo should win this because he has greater speed, defense, movement, and boxing. But Angulo is coming for the upset. So Alvarez better be ready.
Canelo has horrible stamina and is flat-footed. Angulo is not the type of fighter you want to lose your stamina and stay flat footed with because he is the type of fighter that can break you down late in the fight or could knock you out in one punch. First 4 or 5 rounds are going to be competitive, Canelo might have the edge on those rounds. As the rounds go by, Angulo will start to break down and hurt Canelo. I got Angulo tko 8-9 rounds

Now some things for ángulo fans to consider:
Canelo's gas tank was spent on a much faster fighter which was trout. trout is also a very skilled boxer something ángulo doesn't have. Canelo does slow through the mid rounds but still has feet and counterpunches to lead him through it.
Secondly, someone said Canelo would win by Robbery. That won't happen if Canelo wins it's because he fought smarter. The judges judge on boxing punches landed, knock downs, and good defense (showing domination) not how many punches you tattered and how much heart is shown. If ángulo looses by decision it will be a fair one. out-boxed and out-punched.
Either Canelo by robbery or Angulo by late stoppage. Canelo's gas tank is tiny and Angulo has power. Lara was ready to go after that second knockdown, and Lara is a far far better fighter than Canelo.
It won't be easy but it should be a pretty straightforward fight for Canelo who should be able to outbox and outwork Alfredo. I think it will be a fight that makes Canelo look good again especially after losing to Floyd like he did.
Canelo. He displayed excellent head movement against a skilled Austin Trout. He has also shown that he can put combinations together very well and that he is a decent counter puncher. Angulo's only strength is his power and toughness.
