Boxing: If Floyd beat Pacquiao and Garcia in 2014 would he repeat as Fighter of the Year?

If not those 2, one of them and Golovkin?

yea sure, dream on... aint you listening to him, he looks for a particular opponent... and you thinks thats includes pac

I dont even know why hes FOTY this year... who did he beat? while bradley, he faced real challenge beating provodnikov and marquez

Beating any of the two especially in impressive, decisive manner would be enough to give him another Fighter of the Year award. Winning another fight against any other rated foe at welterweights or junior middleweights as Erislandy Lara, Shawn Porter, Marcos Maidana or Amir Khan would just be an icing in the cake.

A fight with Golovkin I think would not be possible. Floyd would not want to go up and I don't think Golovkin can go down in weight and remain as potent as he is now at 160.

Floyd can fight pretty much anybody and beat them. He will beat Garcia and the others pretty easy since they can't find him to hit him.

Manny on the other hand has been seared into Floyd's mind and he is afraid of him getting in one of those killer punches. it is a psychological thing for Floyd now. Not the way a little mouse scares a girl. (Give me a break)!! it 's the way a mouse being floyd being afraid of a cat.

I think Floyd would have always beat Manny, at any time in his career, it was a huge mistake not to have fought Pac years ago. If they ever do fight, regardless of the time frame, the winner would be the favorite for fighter of the year. Other fights are pretty much window dressing.

With those wins anyone can be nominated fighter of the year unless the fights are controversial in any way.

Timothy Bradley beat arguably the best competition these last 2 years but all 3 of those ''wins'' were controversially close thus he didn't win

Garcia, and others, maybe. Pacquiao, I doubt very much that he would be willing to fight him. Floyd can beat him if you will judge it by accomplishments. But, psychologically, I believe Floyd is just scared of him just as most females are afraid of a mice, and will avoid Manny at all cost. Sean G, I respect your analysis on boxers, but on this one you are also right except that you have not taken into consideration the fear factor that Floyd has been exhibiting since the start of the clamor for it to happen. He will never fight Pacquaio.

Did he win fighter of the year this year? He would definitely win fighter of the year with those two wins.

I thought Danny Garcia and Rigo had the best wins but I suppose Floyd winning the lineal 154 title is pretty impressive.

It would depend who other people beat. If say, Roman Gonzalez beat Kazuto Ioka, Adrian Hernandez and Estrada in a rematch, then he'd beat Floyd to fighter of the year.

beating Pacquiao and Garcia would give Floyd a legitimate chance of winning as they are two quality opponents, unlike this year.

He ain't fighting Pacquiao, ok! You've heard it in the video you posted before, he wants low risk high reward opponents. Pacquiao isn't low risk.

You have to accept the truth, fight isn't going to happen at all. Because one of your favorite fighter wants no part of Pacquiao.

It's waaayy too obvious that Floyd is not interested in fighting Manny.

Floyd can't beat Pacquiao.. coz Floyd ain't fighting Pacquiao.. so it's not possible

If not those 2, one of them and Golovkin?

This question is delusional LOL...Floyd aint fighting pac because he is scared...Why is it most of floyd fans are g@ys?
