True or false people only train hard because they have to not because they want to?

You do experience natural 'highs' after a good training session..

However.. Boxing training is tough, it places demands on the body, its not natural to get punched around the ring for several rounds..

As a former boxer, I used to love the training when I was young (under 16yrs), but as you get older, you discover, beer, parties and women.... These elements do not bode well with daily training regimes.

Between the ages of 20yrs to 30yrs, I had on on / off love affair with boxing.. I was either clean cut, or going through a party stage...

I was still boxing in my 40's.... My last fight being in 2012.

Did I only train because I had to.... You bet!

everyone is different and some enjoy training and some not so much.

it is wrong to think no one likes to train hard, in fact I have known some who enjoyed training more than fighting.

Not necessarily. .some love it................Marciano, for one...............even today, Mayweather trains constantly , always in HIS gym .

you gotta train hard to be good but I bet if a magic pill fell on your lap that would make you unbeatable if you ate it you would eat it real quick. Point is nobody likes to train hard its merely a necessity to achieve goal
