I think both have a big mouth. Frankly I don't like none of them. Especially Mayorga. because he talks a lot and can't do nothing.
At least Broner can at least fight. Mayorga is wild and usually loses. He may be one of the best in his block, but not in the championships of the world.
Mayorga's best insult is "queer" towards everybody he fights. He prides himself in his street thug mentality which is a far cry from the boxing ring. He usually tries to beat up his opponent outside the ring. Which is why he is almost forgotten today.
At this point I think El Matador has the more impressive record having fought Cotto, Trinidad, De La Hoya and a bunch of other top names. He lost to most of them but at least he fought them.
He talked a lot of trash in his day but it was nothing out of the ordinary and I found it quite entertaining. A few direnct insults towards his opponents, usually he would question their sexuality and talk about their wives. No dry humping his opponents or silly dancing routines for the Nicaraguan. The thing I remember about him was he used to smoke a lot, during interviews, pressers and even once after a fight when Larry Merchant handed him a cigarette to smoke.
Mayorga as of now. Mayorga beat some of the best at the time.
